I just wanted to wish everyone a happy mother’s day. I hope you are all getting the love you deserve today. I realize this day might be difficult for some. Whether you’ve lost your mom, you’ve lost a child, or you want a child desperately and don’t have one. I just want you to know, that I see you and I’m sending you a virtual hug. Do something nice for yourself today. You deserve it too.
I don’t take for granted how blessed I am. I have two amazing little ones and I’m grateful that I was chosen to be their mommy every day. That’s not saying that every day is sunshine and rainbows, we’ve had our share of tantrums and tears. I
just make it a point each day to take a breath in and remember how lucky I am. One of my biggest pet peeves is fingerprints on the windows. I can’t stand them so I’m washing a few of the kid’s favorite windows almost daily. It’s during that time that I take a moment to look at their little fingerprints and remember that one day my windows will be clean, and this moment in time will be over. I wipe them away knowing that for now, they’ll be back tomorrow.
In honor of ALL the women and mother’s in our lives, I’ve collaborated with some very talented Cozy Authors to bring to you a mother’s day Cozy collection!
Pour your self a cup of coffee, sit back and relax today. The windows can wait until tomorrow.

I’m constantly astounded by the generosity and the general comradeship of the writing community. Need Advice? Ask away. Need your book shared on social media? Not a problem. Set up a newsletter swap when you only have 80 subscribers and they have 7000? Absolutely.
These acts of kindness are only the tip of the iceberg. We cheer each other on, lift each other up and commiserate when things don’t go exactly to plan. I’m honored to be a part of such a wonderful community.
When I was presented with the opportunity to meet with an aspiring author this week to help her out, I didn’t hesitate. This week is extremely busy for me personally, and I’ve neglected my writing in a big way. However, I didn’t pass up the chance to help a fellow writer and meet last night to discuss her journey. This has been done for me countless times in the past, and it was time for me to pay it forward. It was really a lovely meeting, and I think that I even made a new friend. Honestly, just talking about publishing, and what I was working on re-lit the fire within me. I’d say the meeting was mutually beneficial!
Things in my household are going to ramp up for one last end of school year push, and them hopefully slow down a bit so I can get back at it!
In the meantime, please check out my recommendations for the week!

Rainy Day is headed to greener pastures.
Divorced, and with kids out on their own, she uses a recent inheritance to make big changes to her life. She quits her job and, on a whim, buys a hobby farm in rural Virginia, a hundred miles from her long-time home near Washington, DC. Despite the fact that she has no idea what she’s doing, she’s buoyed by the prospect of living in a small town and adjusting to country life.
Until she finds a body in her bungalow.
A handsome neighbor, a charming pastor, a grumpy bartender, and a bumbling sheriff all manage to complicate the situation, especially when Rainy herself becomes a suspect in the crime.
When things take a turn for the worse, Rainy has to wonder – did she make a mistake buying the farm?

In the town of Castle Rock, many residents live a fairy tale life but not all get a fairy tale ending.

Despite the embittered classes, not much happens in their divided town and Michael, along with his sister Monica, struggle to keep the doors of Grimm Investigations open.
That is until Preston Charming, the wealthy son of one of the most powerful families in Fairy Tails, is found murdered in Siren Woods. The Grimm siblings eagerly take the case, but soon Michael finds himself on a collision course with the scars of the past and people who inflicted them.
Amid old enemies, abandoned shoes, hardened servant girls, and infamous parties; will Michael solve this homicidal puzzle before the killer sees to it he doesn’t get his happy ever after?
